This was my first time making a potted plant. I followed video tutorials that Murilo gave to me that were for making foliage and trees from 3DS Max to UDK and I had to extrapolate it myself for Maya. The trunk is modeled with a normal map and a bark texture I made in Photoshop. There are two kinds of branches that I made from high-poly branches which I used to make image textures for the cards for the branches.
For the next version of this bamboo plant, I'll make 3 kinds of branches and make the stems curved next time to make it look more organic.
Pot needs a lightmap or something.
